A tradition of excellence.
Consistently voted one of Michigan’s top races, the Heart of the Hills 10k & 5k is back for 2010! For decades, runners of all kinds have been competing in this great event. Our beautiful and challenging course starts at Andover High School (on Long Lake Rd. west of Telegraph Rd.) and winds through Bloomfield Hills.
Running is not about taking it easy.
Runners come from all walks of life, but we have one thing in common: we love a challenge. The Heart of the Hills is a runner’s course. It’s hilly. It’s certified. It’s beautiful. And you probably won’t PR here.
It’s all for a good cause.
All proceeds from the 2009 races will benefit the Bloomfield Hills Recreation & Community Services and Bloomfield Optimist. In past years this race has raised thousands of dollars for these great non-profit organizations.
Our great venue, attractive prizes, nice post-race goodies and an incomparable course continue to attract elite runners and novices alike, year after year.
